Merlin MacReynold has resigned as High Commissioner (5/21/11) due to personal reasons.  Forrest Lee Piver succeeds him effective immediately.

Message from the High Council
-- At their meeting on August 8th 2007, the High Council discussed the inequality of gender selection in Clan Donald's appointment of High Commissioners and Deputy High Commissioners.

With so many female officers doing excellent work for the Clan, we must ensure that all positions in the Clan are open to everyone. The High Council were unanimous in agreeing this issue and the Chamberlain was instructed to pass this information to all of the High Commissioners.

We Are Sorrowful

Bob Millard--Bob was a very long standing member of Clan Donald.  He always spoke the best of people, and was always positive, regardless of how he was feeling at the time.  The memorial service was held May 19, 2010 in New Richmond, WI.  Bob served Clan Donald most recently as Convenor-at-Large for the Midwest / Great Plains Region.  He will be greatly missed.

Christina Clark--With much sadness we report the passing of Christina Clark of Le Claire, IA.  Christina is the mother of David Clark and mother-in-law of Sue Clark of Des Moines, IA.  Christina passed away on January 28th after a long, courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.  She will be greatly missed.
